GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY LETTER AUGUST 2026 TANGLAW 2026 Lights the Way for a New Generation of Rotaract Leaders By: CP Patricia Denise Cabreros More than 100 Rotaractors from across District gathered on June 27, 2026, as the Rotaract Club of Quezon City MediaTech, in partnership with Rotaract District 3780, hosted TANGLAW 2026: Club Leadership Learning Seminar at the QC Community Center. True to its name, Tanglaw became a beacon that illuminated the path for leaders ready to create a lasting legacy of service. Throughout the day, participants were challenged to think beyond projects and events—to lead with purpose, vision, and impact. Sessions led by DRR Stephen James "Cachi" Cachuela, PDRR YSC Dianna Desuyo, DRRE Carlos Requino, DS Denise Cabreros, and DDCOS Xamantha Lucenario explored strategic planning, governance, measurable goals, district branding, project reporting, and sustainable leadership. The discussions encouraged club leaders to transform ideas into meaningful action while building stronger, more resilient organizations. Adding a creative perspective, guest speaker Chino "Tita Krissy" Liu inspired participants to communicate with authenticity through compelling visual storytelling, impactful poster design, and intentional club branding— reminding everyone that every story shared has the power to inspire others to serve. The day's highlight was the District Induction Ceremony, where District Governor Rhyan Virrey formally inducted District Rotaract Representative Stephen James "Cachi" Cachuela, followed by the oath-taking of the District Officers, the induction of the Creating Legacy Club Presidents, and the district's newest Rotaract members. As one Rotary year begins, TANGLAW 2026 reminds every Rotaractor that leadership is not measured by titles, but by the lives we touch, the communities we strengthen, and the legacy we choose to create. Together, these leaders now carry the light forward—ready to inspire, serve, and lead with purpose. Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District
