November is The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Month in Rotary world and RI District 3780 Governor Milo Lucenario underscores the role of TRF in supporting Rotary members’ service projects that improve health, education, environment, and poverty around the world. Thus, every dollar donated to TRF means clean water and sanitation, health and hope in areas that were once ravaged by diseases like polio and covid and economic development and new opportunities.
The Rotary Foundation supports Rotary International service projects in the Philippines, including those in our district in Quezon City, by providing funding and resources to address community needs. Through grants such as Global Grants and District Grants, the foundation helps local Rotary clubs implement sustainable projects in areas like education, healthcare, water and sanitation, and economic development.
In RI District 3780 (Quezon City), projects often focus on improving public health (e.g., medical missions, vaccination programs), providing educational resources (e.g., scholarships, school supplies), and enhancing community infrastructure (e.g., clean water systems). The Foundation also facilitates partnerships between local and international Rotary clubs, fostering collaboration and amplifying the impact of service initiatives.
