GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY LETTER AUGUST 2026 Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS): Preparing Leaders to Create Lasting Impact District Rotaract Secretary CP Patricia Denise Cabreros On May 23, 2026, the Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District successfully conducted the Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) at MatTEAu's Food & Beverage House, attended by 19 Club Presidents-Elect preparing to lead their respective clubs in the upcoming Rotary Year. Guided by Rotary's vision to Create Lasting Impact, the seminar provided participants with practical leadership skills, district operational knowledge, and governance updates essential for effective club leadership. The program began with DRRN CP Chivas Ayroso, who facilitated an engaging session on personal leadership, covering self-awareness, strengths assessment, habit systems, and creating a personal leadership plan. Through the "My Leadership Identity Card" activity, participants reflected on the leaders they aspire to become and the impact they hope to create. District Rotaract Secretary CP Patricia Denise G. Cabreros discussed key district operations, including the District Calendar, Star Points System, and DRRs Visit Guidelines, emphasizing organization, accountability, and active participation throughout the Rotary Year. District Rotaract Representative Stephen James C. Cachuela led a session on governance initiatives, focusing on SEC and BIR Registration and Bank Account Updating, followed by an open discussion where Presidents-Elect addressed concerns and shared best practices. The event was further enriched by an inspiring message from District Governor Rhyan G. Virrey, who encouraged the incoming leaders to embrace servant leadership and create meaningful, lasting change within their clubs and communities. The seminar concluded with team-building activities facilitated by ADRRs PP Vladimir Beldeniza, IPP Andrey Francisco, and IPP JJ Lagrimas, strengthening collaboration and fellowship among the district's future club leaders. Through PELS, the Rotaract District 3780 reaffirmed its commitment to developing capable leaders who are ready to create lasting impact through service, leadership, and sustainable club excellence.
