Every month, Rotary gives us a story worth telling. A story of a hand extended to someone in need. A community strengthened. A partnership formed. A dream given another chance. And behind every story is a Rotarian who chose to serve. Welcome to the Governor’s Monthly Letter of Rotary District 3780 for Rotary Year 2026–2027, under the leadership of our District Governor Rhyan Virrey and guided by the inspiring call to CREATE LASTING IMPACT. This theme is more than a message—it is a challenge for each of us to look beyond what we accomplish and ask what remains because we served. As Editor-in-Chief, I am honored to help bring those stories to life. Through the GML, we will celebrate the accomplishments of our clubs, recognize the dedication of our Rotarians, highlight meaningful partnerships, and share the moments that make our District vibrant and united in service. But this publication is more than a record of activities. EEDDIITTOORR’’SS NNOOTTEE WWWWhhhheeeerrrreeee SSSSeeeerrrrvvvviiiicccceeee BBBBeeeeccccoooommmmeeeessss aaaa SSSSttttoooorrrryyyy “We don't just tell the stories of service—we preserve the impact behind every story.” It is our collective memory. It is our celebration. It is our connection. And it is our story. Every photograph captures a moment. Every article preserves an achievement. Every name represents someone who gave time, talent, energy, and heart. And every story reminds us that Rotary is not simply an organization of people who meet—it is a movement of people who care enough to make a difference. As we journey through this Rotary year, may the GML inspire us not merely to count the projects we complete, but to recognize the lives we touch. May it remind us that the greatest measure of service is not what we leave behind on paper, but what we leave behind in the hearts and lives of the people we serve. Because positions change. Projects end. Years pass. But impact remains. Let us therefore turn the page with renewed purpose, open hearts, and a shared commitment to make every opportunity for service meaningful. And when this Rotary year comes to a close, may we look back with gratitude—not only for what we accomplished, but for the hope we created, the lives we touched, and the difference we made together. Welcome to a new chapter. Welcome to our story. Welcome to a year where we CREATE LASTING IMPACT. With a grateful heart and a storyteller’s passion for service, Bhjorn “DAI” Paingan Editor-in-Chief Governor’s Monthly Letter | Rotary International District 3780 Rotary Year 2026–2027 2
