RID3780 Kicks Off World End Polio Day with a Float Parade and Creative Designs

October 27, 2024 (Quezon City). Rotary International District 3780 celebrated World End Polio Day with a vibrant float parade, blending creativity with purpose. Each region showcased its unique vision through colorful floats, transforming the streets into a moving campaign for polio eradication.

The parade was more than just a display—each float carried a clear message about the importance of vaccination. Bright colors, cultural symbols, and meaningful designs highlighted the need to protect children through immunization. While Rotary has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9%, the work continues until every child is safe from the disease.

The float parade reflected the spirit of action and service, showing how community efforts drive global change. Every float reminded people that small actions—like getting vaccinated—build a safer world for everyone.
D3780’s event celebrated Rotary’s progress while keeping the focus on the ultimate goal: a world free of polio.

With every float, every conversation, and every child vaccinated, we move closer to that future. The road may still have challenges, but with consistent effort, the day will come when polio is no longer a threat.
