Dear Fellow Rotarians,
I can hardly believe I’ve already wrapped up 71 governor’s visits. As I sit here reflecting on Basic Education and Literacy Month, my mind keeps drifting back to the Rotarian teachers I’ve met over the past few weeks. The stories my Legacy Presidents in the education sector shared with me today… wow. The quiet, selfless things these educators do behind the scenes without asking for a single drop of recognition absolutely blew me away. Aside from teaching; they change lives. Listening to them reminded me of the pure heart of our district. Education is the most powerful tool we have, and it makes me so incredibly proud to see our own Rotarians wielding it with such grace.
With the scheduled visitations finally winding down, my energy is shifting to what’s next, and honestly, I am so pumped for the End Polio Day Celebration. TLP Wilson Lopez and the Rotary Club of Camp Crame are doing an amazing job putting it together.

I can already picture the regional floats, our motorcade parade, and the sight of everyone proudly wearing their End Polio legacy shirts. It’s such a powerful reminder that when we stand together, we are literally making history.
And then there’s Octoberfest! TLP JM Tobias and the Rotary Club of Quezon Avenue Central are really pulling out all the stops for “Cheers to End Polio Now.” Unlimited drinks, live bands, and a Halloween contest? It’s exactly the kind of fellowship we need right now. We work incredibly hard for our communities, but moments like that are how we recharge and celebrate our shared victories together.
As the first quarter of this Rotary year slowly comes to a close, my heart is just full. The continuous support for the district and the deep commitment to the Rotary Foundation from every single Rotarian I’ve met is inspiring. We had such a progressive first quarter, and it’s all the proof I need that we are exactly where we need to be.
We are right on track to creating a lasting impact. It’s a good day, and an absolute honor, to serve as your district governor.
