In a powerful display of unity and compassion, Rotary District 3780—in partnership with the Helping Youth Transcend Foundation Inc. (HYT Foundation)—recently rolled out its flagship medical and community outreach initiative, Hatid Kalinga Mula sa Puso. Held on September 26, 2026, at the Bulwagang Claret in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, the event lived up to its name by bringing essential care directly to the hearts and hands of those who need it most.
Under the steadfast leadership of Project Chairman PP Heddy Tabao, also the District Chairman for Community Economic Development and Chairman of Hatid Kalinga Mula sa Puso, the initiative served nearly 1,000 patients from underserved communities.
Governor Virrey's active presence, alongside other dedicated district teams, all working collaboratively to transform their vision into action. Their collective efforts not only showcased their commitment but also created a positive and lasting impact on the community they serve. District Governor Rhayn Virrey and the dedicated district team supported this impressive effort, providing a comprehensive suite of vital services under one roof.
A Community United in Service
The sheer scale of the outreach highlights what can be achieved when hearts align for a common purpose. The program’s success was fueled by the collaborative energy of 21 participating Rotary Clubs, dedicated medical professionals, enthusiastic volunteers, and generous partners. Together, they transformed the venue into a bustling hub of hope and wellness.
Comprehensive Care Under One Roof
Beneficiaries didn't just receive basic check-ups; they were treated to a full spectrum of healthcare and social welfare services designed to restore dignity and well-being:
● Medical & Specialist Care: Attendees accessed general medical consultations, pediatric check-ups, dental care, dermatology services, and specialized vision screening. ●Diagnostics: Essential diagnostic procedures—including X-rays, ECG cardiac screenings, and laboratory examinations such as CBC and urinalysis—were made readily available on-site. ● Pharmacy & Support: Patients walked away with free, much-needed medicines and complimentary eyeglasses. ● Holistic Social Services: The initiative provided crucial assistance for government registrations, including Solo Parent and Yakap programs. ● Legal Counseling – headed by Atty. PP Boyet Tabao, going beyond physical health, the initiative extended a helping hand through legal counseling and assistance.
