GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY LETTER AUGUST 2026 “SUSTAIN – SYA” A CSR Initiative for Sustainable Nutrition We, the Interact Club of Juan Sumulong High School, together with the Prism – Pride Council and Future Entrepreneurs, conducted SUSTAIN-SYA: A CSR Initiative for Sustainable Nutrition to support 30 identified undernourished learners through a feeding program and nutrition education. The project aimed to improve the learners’ nutritional well-being by providing balanced and healthy meals while promoting awareness of affordable and nutritious food choices. During the activity, volunteers served nutritious meals and conducted a short discussion on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. As a result, the learners received immediate nutritional support while gaining practical knowledge that can help them make healthier food choices. The project also strengthened the club’s commitment to serving the community by promoting health, education, and sustainable development. Together with the Prism – Pride Council and Future Entrepreneurs, we successfully conducted this project on July 30, 2026. The project not only focused on providing food and lessons but also aimed to enhance the learners’ overall experience through games and interactive activities that boosted their energy and encouraged participation. We also gave them tokens of appreciation for attending and supporting the project. SUSTAIN-SYA left a positive impact on the 30 learners by providing not only immediate nutritional support but also knowledge and experiences that can benefit them beyond the activity. Through the program, the learners received balanced and nutritious meals that supported their nutritional needs. Together, we can make a difference, create meaningful experiences, and leave a lasting impact in our community. Interact Club of Juan Sumulong High School
